University Advancement
The RIT Alumni Association is proud to honor 11 exceptional alumni who have brought distinction at the highest level to RIT through professional, community, or philanthropic achievements.

The Distinguished Alumni Awards are bestowed annually upon an alum from each college within RIT. Each year, the colleges name a deserving graduate who has performed with distinction at the highest levels of their chosen profession; or who has contributed significantly to the advancement and leadership of noteworthy civic, philanthropic, or service organizations over the course of many years. Those honored have brought distinction to their colleges and RIT.

In addition to our Distinguished Alumni Award recipients, we are honored to announce our 2021-2022 Outstanding Alumni Awards winners, Sudhakar 'Bal' Dixit MBA '74 and Anita Dixit MS '91. Established by the Office of the President in 1952, this is the highest honor the university can bestow upon a graduate in recognition of professional accomplishments as well as service and generosity to the university.

The RIT Alumni Association is proud to welcome six members of the RIT community to the RIT Alumni Association Board, which serves as the advisory body of the RIT Alumni Association. The Board's primary responsibility is to provide leadership in developing and executing stimulating and engaging alumni programs and activities.

Omar Aponte ME '08, Jenna Deutsch BS '13, Emily Moore BFA '16, Eric Senna BS '91, Mashal Waqar BS '17, and Stephanie White ME '16 were selected from a variety of graduation years and geographic areas. For the next three years, they will provide leadership in the development and execution of engaging alumni activities.

The miles that separate them can't penetrate the strong bond they formed during their years at RIT in the early 1980s.
