National Life Insurance Awareness Month
September was National Life Insurance Awareness Month, but you can still take the time now to assess your coverage. If you do or do not have life insurance, now might be a good time for a checkup. There are two kinds of life insurance: term and permanent. A good way to find out which type is best for you is to talk to your trusted financial professional so you can assess your needs.

If you have life insurance but feel it is no longer needed because it has outlasted its original purpose, giving it is an excellent way to support RIT. You can include the university as a beneficiary, or if you would benefit from an immediate charitable tax deduction, you can make RIT the owner of the policy as well.

For more info, please click here. If you prefer to talk to someone, call Hal Burrall or Tamra Werner at 585-475-3106 or email us at plannedgiving@rit.edu.
