Improved Academic Transcript Services for RIT Students and Alumni

The Office of the Registrar is pleased to announce our collaboration with Parchment.com to enhance RIT’s academic transcript services. The university is now offering alumni the option of sending and receiving official academic transcripts on paper or electronically.  In recent years, RIT has had an increase in demand to provide electronic transcripts and now you will be able to send your official electronic transcript anywhere in the world with just a few clicks. Our partnership with Parchment, a leader in eTranscript exchange, allows you to send transcripts electronically, securely, and confidentially.

All official transcript requests should be made using the Parchment system accessible via the link on the Office of the Registrar's website. The turn-around time is vastly improved with these new services. The processing and delivery time for electronic transcripts is approximately 30 minutes, while the processing time for paper transcripts will be reduced to 2–4 business days

With the addition of these services, official transcripts will now carry a small charge. The cost for an electronic transcript will be $3.25 and paper transcripts will be $4.00. FedEx shipping continues to be an option for an additional fee (varies for domestic vs. international shipping). All fees are collected through Parchment and must be paid online.
