Hockey Tickets on Sale
Tickets for the 2008-2009 RIT men’s hockey season are currently on sale. Group and corporate rates are available this season. A minimum of 15 tickets must be purchased prior to the game with the group receiving $1.00 off the price of each ticket.
Baseball Alumni Reunion
Make your plans to come back to Alumni Weekend in 2008, the weekend of September 12th and 13th. This year will include an alumni golf tournament on Saturday followed by the annual alumni dinner Saturday night. This is always a great weekend, we cannot wait to see everyone back on campus.

Brick City Homecoming is RIT’s annual celebration that gathers alumni, students, parents, faculty, staff, and friends of the university. The fall weekend provides the opportunity for the RIT community.

President's Alumni Ball
The Ball, hosted by Dr. Destler on October 10th, celebrates RIT's history, spirit and alumni. The 60's themed ball is a fun-filled black tie optional affair paying tribute to the 40th anniversary of RIT's Henrietta Campus, established in 1968. The evening features live music by Gary Lewis and the Playboys.
College Alumni Cup Challenge
The College Alumni Cup will be awarded to the RIT college that draws the greatest percentage of alumni participants during Homecoming weekend. The cup will be presented by President Bill Destler to representatives from the winning college during the President's Alumni Ball, held this year on October 10th. The race is on!

It's A Boy!
Paul Jeran (1992) and Lisa Jeran are proud to announce the birth of a baby boy, Spencer Austin. He was born on July 15, 2008 in Boise, Idaho, and weighed 7 lb., 0 oz.. Paul and Lisa welcome Spencer to the world. Dad is already talking to him about MiniBaja and Formula cars!
Wedding Bells are Ringing...
Sarah Friedlander '06 (CIAS) and Ryan Doherty '05 (GCCIS) are happy to announce their marriage on July 27, 2008 in Centerport, NY. In their wedding party was Randy (Brock) Boland '05 (GCCIS) and Lindsay Lamb '06 (CIAS).
Career Achievements
Bruce R James (1964) has been named by the governor to chair the Nevada Spending and Government Efficiency (SAGE) Commission. This commision consists of 14 private sector CEO's who will provide recommendations to the governor and state legislature for streamlining state government both reducing costs and improving citizen services.

A Fraternity of Artists
Alpha Epsilon Pi Fraternity's fifth art show, A Fraternity of Artists, will be held at 3174 State St. Gallery, Caledonia, NY. Enjoy refreshments and meet contributing artists opening night, September 12, 5:30-8pm. There will be an RIT Brick City Days Alumni Event at the Gallery on October 12, 12-3pm.

The Fund for RIT is on a quest this year, too—closing the gap between what tuition actually covers and what it takes to educate a student. And we can do it — with continued support from our alumni.
