Imagine RIT Festival Dazzles 25,000 Visitors
Nearly 2,000 exhibitors proudly displayed examples of green technology, new ideas for products and services, creative arts and crafts and groundbreaking research. Visitors raced solar powered cars. They played a harp with laser strings. Children made ice cream with liquid nitrogen. And some, who dared, got sucked into a black hole.

Xerox President to Deliver 2009 Commencement Address
Ursula Burns, president of Xerox Corp., will deliver RIT's 124th commencement address during Academic Convocation, which will be held at 4 p.m. on Friday, May 22, in the Gordon Field House and Activities Center. Join us as we welcome 3,500 new graduates to our Alumni Association.

Student Filmmakers Show Off Creativity at High Falls Film Festival
A talented group of student filmmakers from all over the world will showcase their work at the annual Rochester High Falls International Film Festival on May 17. This year marks the eighth consecutive year of RITís School of Film and Animation presence at this festival for women filmmakers.

Gathering Celebrates Accomplishments of Women
Eight alumnae were recognized at the fourth annual Womenís Career Achievement Dinner on April 27. Caryl Stern, president of the United States Fund for UNICEF, was the keynote speaker. Detailed biographies of the special guests are featured on the RIT Leadership Institute Web site.

Imagine RIT Video Goes Viral
A 2-minute Imagine RIT promotional video created by RIT Alum and staff member, Jared Lyon, has received tens of thousands of views. Titled Dominoes Everywhere, the video was picked up by popular international design sites, plus musician/record producer Mark Hoppus of the band Blink-182 posted it to his blog, driving views from around the world.

Heidi Langdon née Plain (2002) and Nathaniel Langdon (2002) are happy to announce their marriage which took place on October 11, 2008 at the gorgeous Esperanza Mansion in Bluff Point, NY. Meghan Sweeney (2001) served as Maid of Honor while Shawn Jackson (2002) acted as a groomsman.
