NTID President Selected to Lead Gallaudet
Alan Hurwitz will become the next president of Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C., effective Jan. 1. Hurwitz, who has served as NTID president since 2003, was among four finalists announced for the position in September.
Saunders College Wins Outstanding Ranking
The Princeton Review, an education services company, has selected the E. Philip Saunders College of Business for inclusion in the 2010 edition of Best 301 Business Schools.
RIT Named Campus Sustainability Leader
The College Sustainability Report Card has selected RIT as a Campus Sustainability Leader as part of its annual survey of American colleges and universities. RIT was recognized for its efforts to develop comprehensive campus, research and education programs in sustainability.

Hear and Now
Hear and Now Released on DVD
A documentary featuring RIT/NTID retirees Paul and Sally Taylor as they received cochlear implants is now available on DVD. Hear and Now appeared on HBO, earned a Peabody Award and was named Best Documentary by the audience at the Sundance Film Festival.

KGCOE Unveils Industrial/Sustainable Engineering Dual Degrees
Two new dual-degree programs in the Kate Gleason College of Engineering emphasize sustainable product/process-design methods and end-of-life management decision tools and technologies. The programs include courses in engineering, public policy, business, science and engineering technology.
Criminal justice
New MS Criminal Justice
RIT now offers an MS program in Criminal Justice that focuses on the use of data, research and policy analysis in the field of criminal justice. Admissions Application Fee Waiver
You can give a college-bound student of your choice a fee-waived application for undergraduate admission. By encouraging a student to apply, you can share your RIT experiences with a prospective student, while helping to defray the cost of applying to the university.
