Frozen Four  
Tigers Make History in Their First Frozen Four Appearance
An exhilarating run—a run that captivated both a campus and a community—came to an end last Thursday night at Detroit's Ford Field. Spirits remained high as more than 40 alumni events took place across the country, in addition to a packed Field House, to proudly cheer on the Tigers. Read more »

Creative Approach Offers Help for Haiti
Daniel Pipitone '96 (graphic design) recently spearheaded the CreHAITIve Re/Vision Poster Project, a poster fundraiser in Pittsburgh that raised a total of $1,050 to bring aid to people in Haiti. The project involved dozens of Pittsburgh professionals including members of the local chapters of the PRSA, IABC and AIGA. Read more »

Alumnus Honored by Commission on Independent Colleges and Universities
B. Thomas Mancuso '78 was one of 23 people honored by the Commission on Independent Colleges and Universities at the 2010 Independent Sector Alumni Hall of Distinction Awards Ceremony. Honorees were selected for their contributions to New York's economy. Read more »

RIT's own Ian Tewksbury '09 writes, "One of my favorite photos, but that's in large part because it also has my girlfriend (Stephanie Barlock) in it, who I got interested in skydiving not long after we started dating two years ago. Wishing you all blue skies!"

Top Prize
Martha Dimeo '84 won the Grand Prize in the Layers Magazine/Adobe sponsored Photoshop contest titled "How Photoshop Saved The Day." Martha saved the day with the retouching and tonal correction work done for the cover of this National magazine.

It's a Boy!
Jennifer Bushnell '01 and Daniel Bushnell '01 are proud to announce the birth of a baby boy, William Charles. He was born on January 27, 2010 in Pittsburgh, PA, and weighed 6 lb., 4 oz. Big brother RJ and he are already best buddies.

James Pannafino '04 has published his first book titled Common College Sense: The Visual Guide to Understanding Everyday Tasks for College Students. The book uses both visual diagrams and written explanations to clearly describe each common-sense task college students should know but may not. The book is sold through Amazon and can be order through any major bookstore or library.

Alumni Survey
RIT is conducting an assessment of current curricula, reviewing course content for relevance and rigor in today's global society. The RIT Alumni Association is collaborating with the University to ensure that the essential elements of the unique RIT experience remain intact or are enhanced in this review and revision process. The collective industry expertise shared by our alumni is invaluable information, and we ask you for your assistance in this review process.

Members of the RIT Alumni Association Board will analyze the data and provide a report of the findings to the University administration by the conclusion of the academic school year.
