Engineering Grad's Biking Adventure Takes the Long and Winding Road to Argentina
Jesse Steiner '09 has set out on the open road, biking with no particular place to go—except Argentina. He began May 10 in Montreal, Canada, traveled southeast through New England, then began his trek into the Midwest, biking more than 2,300 miles thus far. Read more »

Collaboration Facilitates Government Transparency
Two alumni have teamed with students and faculty to bolster government transparency through journalistic and academic research. Luke Macken and Remy DeCausemaker have developed CIVX.us, a website that aggregates various types of public data in a free and open-source format. Read more »

Board of Trustees Announces Appointment
Retired vice president of ExxonMobil Chemical Co. Robert Dobies has joined RIT's Board of Trustees. He is also the current chair of the board of trustees for Rochester General Health System. Dobies retired from ExxonMobil Chemical Co. in 2008 after 42 years of service. Read more »

Deaf Rapper Inks Record Contract
Sean Forbes, a graduate of RIT-NTID and co-founder of the Deaf Professional Arts Network (D-PAN), has signed a recording contract with The Bass Brothers, the same label that discovered rapper Marshall "Eminem" Mathers. Read more »

Dana (Luccy) Lehman '03 (CIAS) and Christopher Lehman are happy to announce their marriage on September 19, 2009. The ceremony was performed at St. Vincent Basilica Parish in Latrobe, PA and the couple enjoyed an amazing honeymoon in Cancun.

Jeffrey Pinard '95 and Sharon Pinard are proud to announce the birth of their first child, a baby girl named Madelyn Mae. She was born on May 14, 2010 in Dover, NH, and weighed 8 lb., 12 oz.
