Community mourns death of Anthony Wallace
Anthony (Tony) Wallace, an RIT/NTID alumnus and former officer with RIT Public Safety, died recently while on duty with the Hoonah (Alaska) Police Department. According to officials, Wallace and a colleague were confronted by a lone gunman. Read more »

RIT makes list of top 100 green schools
The Sierra Club has selected RIT as one of America's 100 greenest universities as part of its annual "Cool Schools" survey. It is the first time RIT has been selected. The university is recognized as one of the most sustainable campuses in the nation. Read more »

Alumna offers help to Haiti
Tara Thorn, a 2009 grad of NTID's ASL interpreting program, is moving this month, where she hopes to open a school for deaf children in the mountain village of Petionville. The earthquake in January killed more than 200,000 people and destroyed 5,000 schools. Read more »

Wedding Bells!
Sheila (Sarratore) Chabot '05 and Matt Chabot '07 are happy to announce their marriage on July 10, 2010 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cicero, NY. They currently reside in Liverpool, NY. Bridal Party included six RIT graduates with many others in attendance.

Meyer Weiss '74 recently accepted a position at Gould Paper Corporation located in New York, New York as Senior Vice President, Specialty Papers & Material. Meyer recently was employed at InteliCoat Technologies as Vice President, Digital Imaging.

Steve Mac '98 and his wife, Jen, are happy to announce their marriage on August 7, 2010 in Livonia, NY. Because of this longtime season ticket holding Corner Crew member's passion for RIT Tiger Hockey, the wedding party was introduced by none other than Rocky Perrotta, the announcer at the men's hockey games. A whole table of Tiger Hockey fans were in attendance.
