Master of architecture degree
A collaboration between the Golisano Institute for Sustainability and the College of Imaging Arts and Sciences, the master's curriculum focuses on the areas of sustainability, urbanism and integrated practice such as energy efficiency. The program will launch in the fall. Read more »

Researchers in the Chester F. Carlson Center for Imaging Science are processing satellite imagery of regions in Japan affected by the 9.0 magnitude earthquake and tsunami that devastated sections of the country's east coast on March 11. Read more »

Alumni convert human power into electricity
Jay Whelan '86 (industrial engineering) developed a product that captures energy produced from exercise and converts it to 100 percent green power. Lee Griswold '97 (industrial design) helped cut back on excess material and redesign a more efficient model. Read more »
