Alumni to receive Isaiah Thomas Award in Publishing
A group of seven RIT alumni who have won a combined 11 Pulitzer Prizes are this year's recipients of the RIT Isaiah Thomas Award in Publishing, which recognizes outstanding contributions made to the publishing industry. Read more »

Hockey class of 2012  
Men's hockey announces Class of 2015
The new recruits include five forwards, a defenseman and a goaltender. Six of the incoming student-athletes hail from Canada and one is from the United States. "All seven guys can come in and play right away," Head Coach Wayne Wilson says. Read more »

Students win 2nd place in e-waste design contest
Industrial design students Isaac Alves and Joseph Lapke developed a laptop that can be disassembled in about 90 seconds, winning second place in the 2011 International E-Waste Design Competition. Read more »

Photos of RIT featured in design magazine
Designboom, an online design magazine based in Milan, Italy, features RIT in an online profile. One of the magazine's editors visited campus last month and writes about the School of Design, the Vignelli Center for Design Studies, the Center for Student Innovation and other initiatives. Stephen Kennedy '88 writes, "I wrote a science fiction novel "Terra Forma" by (my pen name) J Russell that is now published on Kindle and will be on shelves soon. It is mentioned that the main character's father (me) has a degree in Math from RIT.

Eugene Rosa '67 has been awarded the Boeing Professorship in Environmental Sociology at Washington State University. He is a recognized leader in the field of environmental and technological risk.
