Stephen Schultz and Robert Rice, both RIT alumni, were recently appointed to the Board of Trustees. Schultz is the co-founder of Pictometry and Rice is president and managing partner of a government contracting firm. More »

RIT breaks ground on facility for Golisano Institute
The building will serve as a center for sustainability research, technology transfer, education and outreach. RIT was awarded $13.1 million through the National Institute of Standards and Technology's Construction Grant Program to build the facility and $10 million from New York state. Read more »

Alumnus to donate $1M scoreboard to new arena
J.M. Allain '03 and Trans-Lux Corp., a leading supplier of programmable electronic information displays, announced plans to donate a center-hung electronic scoreboard for the new ice arena. Read more »

Chris Langer has been named the White House News Photographers Association Student Photographer of the Year. He is the first RIT student to win this prestigious award and will be honored at a gala May 14 in Washington, D.C. Read more »

Andrew Ardini '00 and his wife Stacey are the proud parents of Maggie Sophia Ardini. Maggie was born on March 2, 2011 in Newton, MA. Maggie weighed 8 lbs., 9 oz. She looks forward to her first trip to RIT!
