Pre-Register for Workshops and Tours

Workshop descriptions are available at

Workshops will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. We cannot guarantee that workshop seats will still be available if you wait until the conference to sign up. In addition, some workshops will include pre-conference activities and communication from the facilitators that will only go out to pre-registered participants.

Monday, June 4: 6-7:30pm Workshop (choose one, includes choice of box dinner)

Boxed dinners will be provided to workshop attendees only.

Tuesday, June 5: Morning time TBD, local off-campus tour (additional fee will apply)

Off-campus tours will run in parallel to the Tuesday morning workshops. You may sign up for a tour or the workshops, but not both. Off-campus tour options include the Gleason Works, General Motors Rochester Operations, and the George Eastman Museum.

Housing – separate registration required


Students participating in the Capstone Design Conference by presenting their capstone project work will be provided with conference accommodation at no cost in air conditioned RIT dorm rooms. If you are a student presenting your capstone project, and you do not need to use the accommodations provided, please indicate that in the Comments at the end of this form.

You may either book online through the hotel or call 1-800-333-3333 or (585) 475-1910 for reservations. If calling, be sure to ask for the 2018 Capstone Design Conference room block, which is good through May 3, 2018. Rooms will be available at the conference rate of $99/night from check-in Sunday 6/3 through checkout Wednesday 6/6.

Other Information

I authorize Capstone Conference 2018 to publish photos taken of me during the dates of June 4-6, 2018, and my name and likeness for the use in the Capstone Conference's print materials.
I give my approval to share my name and email address with fellow conference attendees.

Registration to attend the Conference is required.

The goal of the Capstone Design Conferences is to provide a forum for the extended capstone design community (faculty, administrators, industry representatives, and students) to share ideas about improving design-based capstone courses.
