Program skills

Information Sciences and Technologies students learn a systematic approach to the design of secure integrated technology solutions for business, industry, and education. Students can select from areas of study that include application development and management, web design and interactive multimedia, networking, computer-based learning and performance, and interface design and human-computer interaction theory. Students will be able to create information solutions utilizing current hardware and software technology.

Program facilities equipment

The curriculum is supported by a mixture of hardware platforms (PC and Mac) and operating systems (Windows, Linux, Mac OS). In addition to classrooms that support general-purpose education, specialty classrooms and labs are available including Active Learning classrooms, Database Labs, Multimedia, Streaming Media and Sound labs, Usability Testing Labs, Networking, System Administration, Security and specialized networking labs.
