Even though RIT is a large school it feels like a small one. I love walking around campus and running into people I know, and sitting down in Java's for coffee. I immediately felt welcomed and found a group of friends that I've had all five years I've been here. I studied abroad through CAST's program in Dubrovnik, Croatia. I've also had the opportunity to co-op at three major companies which gave me an inside look into the industry and prepared me for a career upon graduation. Packaging Science is a great program. I had a great experience at RIT and the packaging program gave me a look into a world that most people overlook. Packaging class sizes are small so you get more of a personal learning environment. The professors are helpful and approachable, and they really care about helping students succeed. The classes and labs are hands on which really helps concepts resonate. The packaging program also has a great co-op program so ideas and concepts from the classroom can be implemented on a professional level.
