I came to RIT with a lot of doubt and concerns some related to my program of study and other to my spiritual life. However, after arriving here, I started to have a great hope! I sat and discussed my concerns with my academic advisor and thing turned out to be great because of the way she welcomed me and explained things to me. Concerning my spiritual life, I come to know about the interfaith center and I was thrilled. It is just great that you can study and still have a special place where you can take couple of minutes to perform your religious rituals. I didn’t have any previous experiences in my major, but after meeting people from the department I was so confident that I could tackle this program and be successful! These people simplified things for me. What I like the most about my program is the way it is taught. For example, teachers introduce to us very useful tools that can help us in the future after we start working. Additionally, faculty and department staff are always readily available and willing to help. Whenever I have a concern and I find myself in one of their offices I feel at ease because they welcome me and help me out. I love what I am doing so much because of the wonderful support I got from my academic advisor and professors
