Your thesis is an original, systematic and scholarly study of a significant communication problem. You will identify a problem, explain the significance of your study, describe the methods of gathering original information, analyze the results, draw a conclusion and possibly offer a recommendation.

If you decide to complete a project, it is in addition to the thesis. The project is an application of what is learned from your thesis. The completed project results in a media product that demonstrates originality, critical and independent thinking, organizational skills and accurate documentation. Examples include websites, interactive displays and multimedia presentations.
