KhudaBukhsh publishes article on gender biases in movies
Ashique KhudaBukhsh, assistant professor in the Department of Software Engineering, published “Gender bias, social bias, and representation: 70 years of BHollywood” in the Cell Press journal Patterns. The paper studies gender and societal biases in popular Bollywood and Hollywood movies and was done in collaboration with researchers at Carnegie Mellon University.
