We offer a variety of personal computer repair services for all RIT students.

We offer a wide range of services and will contact you within 2 business days with the results of the diagnostic test.

We support PCs, Macs*, tablets, and mobile devices and understand the latest technology to best serve your repair needs.

We are experienced and have completed a rigorous 12-week training program.

Service Plans

Frequently Asked Questions

No. These service plans only cover personal computers and devices. There is no change to repair your RIT owned computers and devices.

No. Students receive the Gold Plan for free! However, you may consider upgrading to the Platinum Plan for the best-value coverage.

Plan prices are pro-rated, so if you purchase mid-year you won't have to pay the entire year's fee. You will need to renew your plan in August when the new academic year begins.

Single Incident Service is a one-time $65 fee and consultation. Additional services and parts may incur additional fees when you do not have a Service Plan. You will receive the best value with the Gold or Platinum plans, which include many additional services at reduced costs or no cost.

Who is Eligible?

Computer Repair Service Plans are available for purchase by all RIT Students, Faculty, Staff and Retirees. You must have a valid RIT Computer Account to be eligible to purchase a plan.

How Does it Work?

Drop your computer or device off at the Digital Den.

We will:

  • Check to see if you have a Service Plan. If you have purchased a plan, or are a Student with the Gold Plan automatically, you don’t need to do anything else! If you do not have a Service Plan, you can purchase a plan to receive the best value, or pay a Single Incident Service fee for a one-time consultation and repair*.
  • Complete consultation/diagnostic, and you will receive an email with the diagnostic testing and/or the results of the repair.
  • Contact you if you need additional services or parts in order to complete your repair.

When repair is complete, you can pick-up your computer at the Digital Den.

* All repairs may incur additional costs based on your Service Plan level and required additional parts and services. Read the Terms & Conditions for full details.
