Veterans Day Breakfast

The RIT Veterans Day Breakfast is a longstanding tradition on campus. Held on Veterans Day each November, it is free and open to the entire community. It is our “salute” to veterans and their families, our way of saying thank you for your service, thank you for your sacrifice.

Dr. Barry Culhane is the visionary behind it. He is a Vietnam-era veteran and has said, “The breakfast is a way to acknowledge the service of all veterans affiliated with RIT and special guests from the Greater Rochester community who work to serve veterans and their families every day.”

Educational Opportunities

RIT is consistently ranked among the best colleges for veterans (U.S. News & World Report) and is designated a Military Friendly® School for the 2020-2021 Military Friendly® Cycle.

If you are a U.S. veteran and you are future focused, RIT is a place where your educational dreams can become a reality. We offer a myriad of opportunities to do that through our Veterans Upward Bound program.
