Institutional Effectiveness

Our commitment to student learning and student success requires systematic and embedded assessment particles at every level and across all units. At RIT Dubai, everything we do-whether administrative or academic- aims at enhancing student learning and student success.
The Office of Institutional Effectiveness (IE) at RIT Dubai offers a broad array of decision support services to all units of Rochester Institute of Technology, Dubai and to external bodies as necessary. This is where we bring together all of the departments that support our quality initiative. Its primary purpose is to facilitate the collection, analysis, and interpretation of institutional data and the provision of information to support planning and decision making. Some of the other purposes the office is involved with is Program Effectiveness which include the curriculum, assessment of student learning where we review program/ course offering quality. 
Other components of the OIE include – accreditation of all programs. RIT Dubai is officially licensed by the Ministry of Education – Higher Education Affairs (MOE-HEA) of the United Arab Emirates to award degrees/qualifications in higher education. All degree programs at R.I.T Dubai are accredited by the Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA), Ministry of Education – Higher Education Affairs (MOE-HEA).
The Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at RIT Dubai are accredited by Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology (ABET). Saunders College of Business undergraduate and graduate programs (NEW YORK, DUBAI and CROATIA) are fully accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International (AACSB).
