MS Service Leadership and Innovation - Educational Objectives & Learning Outcomes


The Service Leadership and Innovation Program Educational Objectives (PEO) are broad statements that describe what graduates are expected to attain within a few years of graduation. Program educational objectives are based on the needs of the program’s constituencies. The Service Leadership and Innovation faculty, in conjunction with its constituents, has established the following program educational objectives:

  • Apply systematic thinking to problem situations and solutions to successfully design, plan, and accomplish innovation throughout service organizations using a systemic thinking approach.


  • Learners will apply systems thinking to solve problems described in future environments.
  • Use of selected design theories and processes to construct a customer co-create service systems or process.
  • Discuss, conceptualize and seek to foster innovation strategies from an individual perspective.

To develop a framework of reference, to be superimposed on organizations which allow and actually promote innovation occurring in the workplace.
