Students are encouraged to apply early, and applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis - that is once your application is complete, the Admissions Committee will meet to review your complete application and notify you of the admission decision in a timely manner.
Our admission process is a personal one, and we will work with you to assist with the application procedure and notify you personally of the decision and your options. The Admissions Committee reviews each application based upon the specific preparation and experiences of each individual student.

Factors considered in our admission decisions include, but are not limited to, past high school/college performance (particularly in required academic subjects), admission test scores, the competitiveness of high school or previous college, and the academic program selected.
RIT Dubai is selective in admission, and all candidates must meet admission standards for the RIT master's program to which they plan to enter. Final admission decisions will be made by the RIT Graduate Departments in Rochester, NY. A transfer credit evaluation is completed as part of the application process. Credit is granted by the academic departments for coursework that is related to your intended program if it is taken at a regionally accredited college or university.
Students applying to RIT Dubai choose a specific academic program as part of the admission process. This is important because we offer a variety of academic programs, and requirements differ from one program to another.

The scholarship committee uses the students’ achievements in secondary education and their performance on standardized tests to assess the scholarship for new Bachelor students. The scholarship for new Master students is assessed using the student’s undergraduate GPA and relevant industry achievements and contributions. Students may also opt to include their scores in standardized tests such as GMAT and GRE for scholarship evaluation, even if the program they are applying to doesn’t require them.
RIT Dubai offers scholarships as a percentage discount on eligible tuition fees to academically outstanding new and returning students in all programs. New students can apply for scholarships at the time they submit an application for admission. Returning students can apply for scholarships at the end of their current academic year. The scholarships are valid for one academic year for bachelors’ students and for one semester for masters’ students, which are then reevaluated based on student’s academic performance.
