The Leadership Academy @ Saunders College of Business offers free certification programs to RIT students across all colleges to build personal leadership skills for co-op and career success in a fun and engaging environment. This spring semester, The Leadership Academy is offering two programs:

Foundational Leadership for Career Success Certificate Program

The goal of this program is to introduce students to the critical concepts and skills needed for career success in any industry and provide an opportunity to put these skills into practice through meaningful, fun, and interactive challenges facilitated by Saunders Faculty, alumni/industry leaders, and upper-class student leaders.

• Tuesday meetings starting in February, 5 p.m.-7 p.m. in the Business Activities Center
  • Dates: Feb 7, Feb 14, Feb 21, Feb 28, March 7, March 21, and March 28.
  • Students must be able to attend all sessions in person
  • Light dinner will be provided at meetings
• Application Deadline: Wednesday, January 25

Business Skills for Aspiring Leaders Certificate Program

The goal of this program is to introduce students to critical business concepts and skills to help them effectively navigate the professional world. Students will put these concepts and skills into practice through an interactive case study and workshops facilitated by Saunders faculty, alumni and industry coaches, and upper-class student leaders.

• Thursday meetings starting in February, 5 p.m.-7 p.m. in the Business Activities Center
  • Dates: Feb 9, Feb 16, Feb 23, March 2, March 9, and March 23.
  • Students must be able to attend all sessions in person
  • Light dinner will be provided at meetings
