Family Orientation Interpreting Requests
If you will need ASL interpreting for any Family Orientation events, please complete this form. Only complete this for your own interpreting needs; students' interpreting requests are handled through a different process. Please refer to the Family Orientation schedules
for dates and times of all events.
Requirements for Unvaccinated Students
Students who are not fully vaccinated at the time of their arrival, including those who have an approved exemption, will be required to participate in weekly testing starting the week students arrive on campus. Community members who are not fully vaccinated will also be required to wear a face mask (minimum of two-ply cloth) while indoors in the presence of others, indoors moving through space occupied by others, or outdoors in crowded outdoor settings. Full vaccination occurs 14 days after the final dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. More information is available on the COVID-19 Vaccine Information webpage.
Virtual Student Orientation Platform
New students are required to complete five modules on the RIT Virtual Orientation
platform. This virtual orientation experience will provide your student with important information, including an introduction to services and resources, to help them successfully launch their RIT journey. Encourage your student to complete these modules at their own pace and prior to coming to campus for their in-person Orientation, where they will engage in discussions about topics covered on the platform.

In case of a weather emergency during Move-In, we will communicate to you through our text alert system. Text RITORI to 888777 to sign up for these notifications.
