Welcome, Tigers!
A Welcome Message from your Student Orientation Coordinators
We are excited to welcome you to campus this fall! We’ve been working diligently to build an Orientation program that will help you launch your RIT experience. As students ourselves, we understand that you will have a lot of questions and concerns, especially given this year’s unusual circumstances. We are here to support you through the Orientation program, which is designed to help introduce you to RIT, its programs, and your classmates.
Something we love about Orientation is that we connect you with an Orientation Leader, who will be your mentor, help answer questions, and acclimate you to RIT. By the end of Orientation, you will have made new friends, learned RIT’s quirky lingo, figured out the best places to go for your favorite foods, and even have learned some American Sign Language through our No Voice Zone program.
In the meantime, we want you to know that we are students who care about you, your concerns, and your questions. Feel free to contact our student team at orientation@rit.edu to ask a question or learn about fun ways to connect with other incoming students over the next couple of months. We are so excited to welcome you to RIT, and happy that you are joining our Tiger family.
Sincerely,
Student Orientation Coordinators
Sebastian, Ava, Natalie, Chris, and Maryalice
