The fall semester promises to be full of activities and energy. To get a head start, connect with the College of Science (COS) community over the summer:

- Attend the Top 10 Secrets of Freshman Year (Wednesday, July 14 at 1 p.m.): Hear about the best places to eat, study, and other recommendations to get you through your first year (like waterproof spray for your backpack). Hear from COS students at this virtual session. Sign up here.
- Attend the COS Clubs Meet n’ Greet (Wednesday, July 21 at 1 p.m.): Learn about the student clubs in the College of Science from the students in them! Chat with other incoming students during the virtual session. Sign up here.
- Attend How to Research with COS Faculty (Wednesday, July 28 at 1 p.m.): Interested in doing research? Nervous about talking to professors? Hear tips at the virtual session from current students on how to succeed in these areas. Sign up here.
- Enroll in First Class Academy (preferences due June 11): This tuition-free online experience is designed to help incoming freshmen prepare for college life. Learn more.
As you can see, there is plenty to do already in the College of Science and across RIT! I look forward to meeting you. Again, welcome to the COS family.
Warm Regards,
