We would like to welcome you and your family to the RIT family, and the Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences at RIT.

In several weeks, you will embark on a new educational journey that will challenge you to think analytically, creatively, and ethically in order to prepare you for the ever-changing needs in the field of computing.  We’ll stand together to help you create the future.

There are important steps to help prepare you for your journey.  You will have an opportunity to prepare yourself for your introductory programming class via an optional and free online class experience called Code Zero. More information will be forthcoming via email in early July. We encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity.

As we prepare to put together your first-semester schedule, we would like to get more information about your background. Please complete the New Student Survey by Wednesday, June 30 at 11:59 p.m. We cannot express the importance of this deadline.
