Adjusting to a new place takes time and energy. At RIT, you’ll find support in the moments that matter, whether you’re figuring out your routine, building new habits, or just taking a break between everything else.

Here, taking care of yourself is part of the experience, not something extra you have to figure out on your own.

Video: Discover Wellness at RIT

More than Academics

Wellness isn’t something you’re expected to prioritize on your own. It’s built into your college experience.

Through required wellness courses, you’ll explore ways to manage stress, stay active, and build habits that work for your life, now and after you graduate.

Staying Active

There’s no one way to be active at RIT.

You might join an intramural team with friends, try something new at the Red Barn, or take a walk on the nature trails to reset between classes. Whether you’re experienced or just curious, there are many ways to stay active and make friends with people who enjoy the same things you do.

Finding Balance

College life can be busy, and that’s why having space to pause matters.

Across campus, you’ll find opportunities to recharge, connect, and build skills that support your mental and physical well-being. You can engage when you need it, in ways that fit your schedule.
