April Anxiety Toolbox Workshop

When: April 11, 2025; 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM
Where: Hale-Andrews Student Life Center

Do you struggle with anxiety like so many of us? Join CaPS provider, Thomas Peechatt, LMHC, in this workshop to learn more about the anxiety you experience and to develop skills for managing it. These are single sessions. The session includes a 90 minute workshop and combines 3 focus areas dedicated to: understanding anxiety, introducing a method for slowing down and disentangling the experience of anxiety, and developing alternative, healthier responses. By the end of the workshop, you will have the tools to create your own individualized plan for managing anxiety.

Leadership Retreat: Rock Climbing at Central Rock Gym

When: April 18, 2025; 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Where: Central Rock Gym, 725 Averill Ave, Rochester, NY 14607

Join the CLCE for a night of climbing at Central Rock Gym! Learn climbing safety, how to knot-tie, and find creative ways to reach the top with guidance from CRG staff. Whether you’re a seasoned climber or a first-timer, this is the perfect chance to challenge yourself, meet new friends, and have a blast. Don’t miss out! The bus will be leaving the Sentinel Statue promptly at 5:00pm. Tickets, rental equipment, and food will be provided. Athletic clothing is recommended.

Getting There: Pick up from Grace Watson Hall at 10:30 AM. Pick up from Kate Gleason Circle at 10:45 AM.

Coming Back: Leave Rochester Public Market District at 12:30 PM. Return to the Rochester Institute of Technology at 1 PM.
