Goat Yoga with Goat Yoga of New York!

When: April 24, 2025; 11:30 AM – 4:15 PM
Where: Greek Lawn - next to the HAC Student Life Center

There are three things we know are good for mental health: moving your body, connecting with nature and animals, and laughing (the big, whole-belly kind). With goat yoga, you can do all three at the same time! Join us a for a 30 minute yoga class with some adorable goat friends as we round out this Spring semester. Sessions will begin at 11:30 am, 12:15 pm, 3:00 pm, and 3:45 pm.

Into the ROC: Bleak House Books

When: April 27, 2025; 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Where: 5 W Main St, Honeoye Falls, NY

Celebrate AAPI Heritage Month with a visit to Bleak House Books, founded by Albert Wan in Hong Kong (2017) and reopened in Honeoye Falls (2023). This educational trip offers a chance to hear Albert's story, reflect on the role of bookstores in civic life, and learn how we can contribute to the community and the world we aspire to create. Transportation provided.

Dr. Russell and Melissa Bessette Award for Doctoral Student Excellence

The Dr. Russell and Mrs. Melissa Bessette Award for Doctoral Student Excellence is awarded annually to two first-year doctoral students with the purpose of providing supplemental financial support to the awarded doctoral student. The award recipients for 2024-2025 are Elena Mpadanes and Carlos Mendiola-Escobedo.
