January Graduate Student Coffee Hour - Winter Warm-Up

When: January 29, 2026, 3PM – 4PM
Where: Crossroads - River Room

Kick off the spring semester with our first Graduate Student Coffee Hour of the semester, and a special welcome to our new spring-intake students! Join us for a cozy winter get-together featuring hot cocoa, great conversations, and a relaxed, low-key activity designed to help you unwind and connect.

Anxiety Toolbox for Graduate Students

When: January 30, 2026, 12 PM – 1:30 PM
Where: USC Conference Room (USC-3200)

Do you struggle with anxiety like so many of us? Join CaPS provider, Thomas Peechatt, LMHC-D, for a didactic workshop aimed at defining the experience of anxiety and developing skills for managing it effectively. This event is intended to deliver this workshop to RIT Graduate students.

Leadership Retreat: Build-A-Bike

When: January 24, 2026, 12 PM – 2 PM EST
Where: SHED Atrium

Join the Center for Leadership and Civic Engagement and the Leader's Institute for a fun philanthropic bicycle team building experience. During this event, your communication, critical thinking and collaborative skills will be put to the test. Spots are limited and first come, first serve. Teams will be randomly assigned.

All the bikes will be donated to a charitable organization at the conclusion of the event.

This year’s RIT Graduate Showcase opens the stage to both graduate students and postdoctoral researchers. Submission deadline: March 1, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. EST.

Retro Replay: 100 Days 'til Graduation

Where: Swill Burger (meet at Sentinel)

Time to kickback and relax! With graduation only 100 days away, enjoy a retro arcade alongside a meal at Swillburger and have a great night of celebration!

Tickets are $5 and include game tokens and a meal ticket, this event is for our final-year graduating students. Bus transportation is provided and REQUIRED! Please head to the SAU lobby at 5pm for check-in, expected return to campus is 10:30 PM
