Palak Wadhwa ’24 (Individualized Program - healthcare leadership and impact) ’25 (MBA) shares her travel experience with Global Health Systems and Innovation, a faculty-led study abroad course set in Stockholm, Sweden, in summer 2025. This class, previously taught by the College of Health Science and Technology, will be taken over by Saunders in spring 2026 and offered as MGMT 758 Global Health Systems and Innovation, a graduate elective. Saunders Faculty and Staff Go Above and Beyond
- Sandra Rothenberg, professor of management and public policy; Karl Korfmacher, professor in the Thomas H. Gosnell School of Life Sciences; and public policy alumni Mikkael Lamoca ‘24 and Roman Czornobil ’24 co-authored the paper “Potential of low-field MRI for increasing participation of Filipino Americans and underrepresented populations in Alzheimer's and dementia research.” Their research explores new strategies to increase participation of underrepresented populations in Alzheimer’s disease and dementia studies using low-field MRI technology.
- Soon Hyeok (Steve) Choi, assistant professor in the department of finance and accounting, was featured on an episode of WXXI’s Connections, “The dangers of overbidding on a house.” The interview focused on Choi’s research published in The Conversation.

Aqua Porter ‘96 (EMBA) was honored as a New York State Senate Woman of Distinction by Senator Samra Brouk, who called Porter an “exceptional visionary and leader, [who] continues to move mountains and make tremendous impact as the Executive Director of RMAPI,” the Rochester-Monroe Anti-Poverty Initiative. She is also a member of the Saunders College of Business Management Advisory Board.

Lindsay Connelly ‘11 (marketing) ‘18 (MBA) was named Business Person of the Year by the Rochester Small Business Council, a Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce affiliate, for 2025. Connelly is the founder and president of Linden Digital Marketing, LLC.

- Saunders Diwali Bash
The Saunders community came together for a spectacular celebration of Diwali, the Festival of Lights, reinforcing the college's commitment to community and global connections. The event was a wonderful showcase of culture, light, and unity, featuring traditional music and dance performances, vibrant decorations, and a feast of authentic Indian cuisine, all of which fostered a strong sense of inclusion and provided a truly memorable evening for the diverse student body, faculty, and staff.
- Brick City Homecoming Weekend
The highlight of Brick City Homecoming & Family Weekend was the three-part Sip & Savor Series, which successfully connected alumni, students, and faculty through unique themes. Events included Ted's Tequila Tasting, where attendees explored high-quality spirits, a session on Classic vs. Up-and-Coming Wines that sparked discussions on market trends, and a cutting-edge AI & Cocktails event that blended mixology with discussions on technology's role in service industries. The entire series provided fantastic networking opportunities and engaging, forward-thinking discussions, reinforcing the blend of professional development and social engagement Saunders aims to provide.
