Second Annual Women's Leadership Weekend brought over 290 attendees to Rochester Institute of Technology Campus

Kicking off National Women's History Month, Saunders hosted its Annual Women's Leadership Weekend, which included three events bringing together alums, students, faculty, staff, and working professionals. The weekend included the 14th annual Power Your Potential Women's Conference, a first-time AdvanceRIT Faculty Leadership Summit for Women Faculty, and the fourth annual Women’s Leadership Summit.

Power Your Potential invited businesswomen to hear insights from United Airlines' Vice President of Digital Technology, Keynote Speaker Stacey Wronkowski ’03 (management information systems), and area business leaders about "Embracing Innovation Across Today's Changing Workforce."

AdvanceRIT Leadership Summit brought in distinguished leaders in academia, and they discussed challenges and professional growth with the President of the University of Rochester's Sarah C. Mangelsdorf, Ph.D.

The Leadership Academy @ Saunders, a student-run organization, hosted the Women's Leadership Summit to inspire tomorrow's future leaders of RIT students and local high schools. The event included 14 alums as speakers and panelists, including Executive Creative Director and Owner of Sarofsky Corporation, Erin Sarofsky BFA '98 (graphic design), MFA '00 (computer graphic design) who has worked on "Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” “Guardians of the Galaxy (1 and 2),” “Shameless,” and “Community.”
