Wellness Education
and Outdoor Education,
combined, offer over 400 wellness-related classes each year. There is a large variety of courses available for you to choose from, including Hip Hop, Flag Football, Functional Training, Kickboxing, Juggling, Stress Management, Maple Syrup and our Environment, and more. Students are required to take two wellness classes prior to graduation, but there is no limit to the number of class you can take! Fun fact: one student took 38 wellness classes during their career at RIT!
Events and Programs
Health Promotion
hosts a variety of events and programs throughout the academic year, focused on health education, skill development, and opportunities for growth. Topics range from alcohol and cannabis education, mental wellness and social connection, to sexual health education, and stress and sleep management.
