Welcome to a new era of dining at RIT! Whether you're a returning student or new to campus, here are 12 exciting RIT Dining updates.

1. All-You-Can-Eat is Feeling So Demure
Yes. We went there.

Gracie's, our only all-you-care-to-eat dining location, is a must-visit. With daily rotating specials, a dedicated allergen-friendly station, and weekend brunches, there's something for everyone. This year, Gracie’s will also be open for breakfast daily.

What’s unique at Gracie’s?

  • Only all-you-care-to-eat dining location on campus
  • BBQ station, served daily, with homemade BBQ sauces
  • Weekend brunch every Saturday and Sunday
  • There's rotating international cuisine from countries around the world (Africa, South America, the Caribbean, India, and beyond)
  • Offers the greatest variety and selection of plant-based entrees
  • Allergen-friendly station eliminates nine common allergens (wheat, gluten, egg, fish, shellfish, milk, peanuts, tree nuts [except coconut], and sesame)
  • Peanut and tree-nut-free facility

2. Food Truck Rodeos: So Cutesy, am I right?

We love partnering with local restaurants through our food truck program. Almost every weekend, you can find a selection of food trucks on campus serving tasty local eats.

RIT Food Truck

In our weekend food truck line-up, don’t miss trying our creatively curated menu of gourmet burgers (with an option to make it vegetarian) with a special beef blend of chuck, sirloin, and brisket. We feature unique burgers like the Hunka Hunka Burger topped with bacon, bananas, peanut butter and maple syrup on French toast.

Find the weekend food truck schedule @ritdining on social or the RIT Events calendar.

3. Veg Out with our 50% Plant-Based Menus is So Mindful

We're committed to sustainability and healthier options with our Forward Food pledge to offer 50% plant-based meals by the end of 2025 in our major restaurants. Look for the green "V" (vegetarian) or yellow “V” (vegan) on our menus and explore the new plant-based dishes crafted by our culinary teams.

4.  Am I in a NYC Kosher Deli?

Craving a classic New York City-style kosher deli? Loaded Latke is your go-to spot on campus. Under the supervision of the STAR-K Kosher certification, you can enjoy traditional Jewish favorites like hand-crafted sandwiches, house-made bagel chips, matzo ball soup, potato salad, and of course, crispy latkes.

Visiting Chef

5. Dear Visiting Chefs, We Love You.

Our Visiting Chefs program has been a staple in our dining offerings for nearly two decades. We take pride in partnering with local minority and women-owned restaurants to bring authentic international cuisines to campus. Check out the complete list of visiting chefs, their stories, and where you can find them on campus >

6. Indian, Asian, Mediterranean, and Mexican…all in one place?

At Cantina and Grille, it’s all about building your entrée from scratch with fresh ingredients.

Global Cuisine
Try building your own bowl at our rotating international station, featuring Mediterranean, Asian (Noodle Lab), and Indian cuisines. It’s the perfect place to explore global flavors and mix and match different proteins and toppings to customize your bowl every time you visit.

Fresh Mexican
All year round, we’ll be offering Fresh Mexican – featuring a build-your-own concept with bowls, burritos, and dessert options (can someone say tres leches and churros with chocolate sauce??)

7.  Grab Some Bytes On Campus, 24/7

Need a quick bite? We have five self-check-out micro-markets around campus, called Bytes, that offer a variety of food options. Whether you're grabbing lunch between classes or need a late-night snack, Bytes has you covered.
