Other Deals Around Rochester and Ways to Save Money

  1. Wegmans Shoppers club card
    1. Sign up, download the app and start saving. On the app, you can clip coupons which automatically upload to your shoppers club card. So when you swipe, they are automatically applied to your purchases.
  2. Perri’s Pizza - On “Crazy Tuesdays” get a large 1 topping pizza $8.88
  3. Bar Louie - $5 burger night on Tuesdays
  4. Michael’s - Check the website, you can always find a 40% off one item coupon
  5. Groupon - I always check groupon to get ideas for date night! I have purchased half off glow in the dark mini golf, discounted gift certificates to some amazing restaurants in Rochester, and even scored a great gel manicure for $1.02!

Student Credit Cards - Look into which credit card companies have the best cash back and rewards for your spending habits. Discover has a rewards system for students that collects cashback on purchases, which can add up fast paying for textbooks! If you don’t spend your points until after a full year, they double!

Insurance Companies - often reward college students who present good report cards!

Lastly, be sure to take advantage of all that RIT has to offer. Now is the time to establish healthy habits with free wellness courses and our state-of-the-art fitness center staffed by extremely helpful students. You will be living steps away from a pool, 25 person hot tub, racquetball courts, squash courts, a boxing room, rock climbing wall and a sauna...USE IT! Don’t forget about all the guest speakers, concerts, and College Activities Board organized activities and trips in the area! So many ways to enjoy yourself while saving money!
