University-Wide Career Fair Schedule

RIT Spring 2018 Career Fair – Wednesday, February 7th!
WEATHER UPDATE:
Rochester is forecasted to get snow on Wednesday but that is pretty normal for us so the career fair will go on as scheduled!

  • Dress for the weather – it will be cold and snowy.
  • Pull your car right up to the fieldhouse for easy unloading/student volunteer help.
  • Park and ride the HEATED shuttle from the lot to the front door!

Career Fair Schedule (Gordon Field House)

8:00 a.m. Employer Check-in and Set-up begins
8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. Continental breakfast available in Reception Room (2nd floor, Gordon Field House)
10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Floor open for student/alumni and employer interaction
12:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. Please enjoy lunch served in the Reception Room on 2nd floor (only water is allowed on Field House floor)
4:00 p.m. Career Fair ends and tear down begins

Interview Day Schedule (Gordon Field House)

Your schedule for Interview Day should be comprised of candidates you met during the Career Fair. Please leave a copy of your Interview Day Schedule with us before you leave the Career Fair.

7:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. Breakfast for Employers in Reception Room
8:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Student Interviews (start time may be earlier by employer preference)
11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Lunch available in Reception Room

Neurodiversity Networking Event

Network with talented RIT students and alumni on the Autism Spectrum and learn about neurodiversity initiatives at RIT supporting employers in hiring candidates with disabilities and integrating employees on the Autism Spectrum into the workplace.

The Biomedical Engineering Department, along with BMES (Biomedical Engineering Society) and the Career Services office, are excited that you are attending the Career Fair tomorrow. Prior to the Career Fair

If you plan to ship your display materials in advance, please plan to have your materials arrive no earlier than 2 weeks prior to the event and no later than the day prior to the event.

Shipped materials will be delivered to your booth the morning of the Career Fair. Please DO NOT send packages to The Gordon Field House.


After the Career Fair

Have return shipping labels filled out and ready to place on all packages you wish to ship back after the Career Fair. These items will be shipped out the morning after the Career Fair, provided that all necessary information is included on the shipping label.

Parking

On-campus parking for this event is at a premium. We ask you to consider utilizing hotel shuttle service where possible and not rental cars.  A limited number of spaces are available in D Lot.  We ask that you do not park in any spots labeled RESERVED.  Once D Lot has reached capacity, you will be directed to G or H Lot. You are able to drop materials at the Field House and then proceed to G or H Lot.  We will run a shuttle from G and H to the Field House.
