University-Wide Career Fair Schedule

RIT Spring 2019 Career Fair – Wednesday, February 27, 2019

Confirmation
A Career Services Coordinator will work with your company to determine whether the Institute-Wide Career fair is a good fit for you, or if other recruiting options would be better suited for the needs of your company.

Fees
The registration fee is $495 for the fair and includes two recruiters. Additional reps are $50 each.   If you wish to stay the next day to interview career fair candidates, the fee is $125 for 2 recruiters, and additional reps are $50 each.
Each table is 6ft long and will be skirted.

Career Fair Schedule (Gordon Field House)

8:00 a.m. Employer Check-in and Set-up begins
8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. Continental breakfast available in Reception Room (2nd floor, Gordon Field House)
10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Floor open for student/alumni and employer interaction
12:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. Please enjoy lunch served in the Reception Room on 2nd floor (only water is allowed on Field House floor)
4:00 p.m. Career Fair ends and tear down begins

Interview Day Schedule (Gordon Field House)

Your schedule for Interview Day should be comprised of candidates you met during the Career Fair. Please leave a copy of your Interview Day Schedule with us before you leave the Career Fair.

7:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. Breakfast for Employers in Reception Room
8:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Student Interviews (start time may be earlier by employer preference)
11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Lunch available in Reception Room

We cordially invite you to our annual College of Business Networking Event!  This is your opportunity to meet, network and recruit our Juniors, Seniors, and Masters level students the evening before the campus-wide career fair. Refreshments will be served.

College of Science Networking Event

6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Gordon Field House, Mezzanine Level

New this spring!  We cordially invite you to attend the College of Science Networking Event: your opportunity to meet, network and recruit our students the evening before the campus-wide career fair from the College of Science majors. This event offers attendees of our Spring Career Fair an opportunity to connect with students in our College of Science, and its six academic units:  Chemistry & Materials Science, Life Sciences, Imaging Science, Mathematical Sciences, Physics & Astronomy, and Integrated Sciences (including Color Science). 

 

With rigorous academic programs that balance fundamental skills, advanced theoretical work, and experiential learning opportunities – including research, students are exposed to open-ended problems with real-life applications and are well prepared for successful careers in the global marketplace.  Join representatives from College of Science student clubs and organizations to learn more about the skills and knowledge gained through our academic programs, and to network with and recruit our highly motivated students!

Shipping

Prior to the Career Fair

If you plan to ship your display materials in advance, please plan to have your materials arrive no earlier than 2 weeks prior to the event and no later than the day prior to the event.

Shipped materials will be delivered to your booth the morning of the Career Fair. Please DO NOT send packages to The Gordon Field House.


After the Career Fair

Have return shipping labels filled out and ready to place on all packages you wish to ship back after the Career Fair. These items will be shipped out the morning after the Career Fair, provided that all necessary information is included on the shipping label.

Parking

On-campus parking for this event is at a premium. We ask you to consider utilizing UBER, LYFT,  or a hotel shuttle service where possible and NOT rental cars.  A limited number of spaces are available in D Lot near the Gordon Field House.  We ask that you do not park in any spots labeled RESERVED.  Once D Lot has reached capacity, you will be directed to B Lot. Please drop materials at the Gordon Field House first and then proceed to B Lot. Shuttles will run on a continuous loop from B Lot to the Gordon Field House. Look for the White buses with the Career Fair sign in the window.
