University-Wide Career Fair Schedule

RIT Fall 2019 Career Fair – Wednesday, September 25th, 2019

Confirmation
A Career Services Coordinator will work with your company to determine whether the University-Wide Career fair is a good fit for you, or if other recruiting options would be better suited for the needs of your company. Please do not schedule travel until you have received your confirmation. 

Fees

Large Booths are sold out for this fair. Regular booths are available for 5 representatives maximum. 

The registration fee is $550 for the fair and includes two recruiters. Additional reps are $75 each. If you wish to stay the next day to interview career fair candidates, the fee is $125 for 2 recruiters, and additional reps are $75 each.
Each table is 6ft long and will be skirted.

May be made by check or credit card only and are non-refundable. Payment must be received prior to attending the career fair.

Saunders College of Business Networking 
Tuesday, September 24th | Gordon Field House, Mezzanine Level | 3:00pm - 5:00pm
We cordially invite you to our annual College of Business Networking Event to be held at the Gordon Field House. This is your opportunity to meet, network and recruit our Juniors, Seniors, and Masters level students the evening before the campus-wide career fair.

Affinity Reception
Tuesday, September 24th | Gordon Field House, Mezzanine Level | 5:00pm - 7:00pm
The objective of the Affinity Reception is to bring together RIT special interest affinity groups and employers who are committed to recruiting a diverse and talented workforce. Some of the groups that attend include: American Indian Science & Engineering Society (AISES), National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), Saunders Multicultural Business Association (SMBA), Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE), Women in Engineering (WE@rit), Women in Technology (WIT), Women in Computing (WIC) and Neurodiverse Hiring Initiative (NHI).

Performance Teams Open House
Tuesday, September 24th | Kate Gleason College of Engineering, 2nd Floor | 7:00pm - 9:00pm
See the following all in one location! RIT Aero Design Team, RIT Electric Vehicle (EVT) Team, RIT Clean Snowmobile Team, RIT Baja SAE Team, RIT Formula SAE Team, RIT HOTWheelz Formula SAE Hybrid Team. Stop by to visit and stay as long as you can – hope to see you there!

Career Fair Schedule (Gordon Field House)

8:00 a.m. Employer Check-in and Set-up begins
7:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. Continental breakfast available in Reception Room (2nd floor, Gordon Field House)
10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Floor open for student/alumni and employer interaction
12:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. Please enjoy lunch served in the Reception Room on 2nd floor (only water is allowed on Field House floor)
4:00 p.m. Career Fair ends and tear down begins

Optional Interview Day Schedule (Gordon Field House)

You are responsible to schedule your own interviews. Your schedule for Interview Day should be comprised of candidates you met during the Career Fair. Please leave a copy of your Interview Day Schedule with us before you leave the Career Fair.

7:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. Breakfast for Employers in the Reception Room
8:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Student Interviews (start time may be earlier by employer preference)
11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Lunch available in Reception Room
3:30 p.m. - Last interviews scheduled 
4:00 p.m. - Interview Day ends and tear down begins

 


Shipping

Prior to the Career Fair

If you plan to ship your display materials in advance, please plan to have your materials arrive no earlier than 2 weeks prior to the event and no later than the day prior to the event.

Shipped materials will be delivered to your booth the morning of the Career Fair. Please DO NOT send packages to The Gordon Field House.


After the Career Fair

Have return shipping labels filled out and ready to place on all packages you wish to ship back after the Career Fair. These items will be shipped out the morning after the Career Fair, provided that all necessary information is included on the shipping label.

Parking

On-campus parking for this event is at a premium. We ask you to consider utilizing UBER, LYFT,  or a hotel shuttle service where possible and NOT rental cars.  A limited number of spaces are available in D Lot near the Gordon Field House.  We ask that you do not park in any spots labeled RESERVED.  Once D Lot has reached capacity, you will be directed to B Lot. Please drop materials at the Gordon Field House first and then proceed to B Lot. Shuttles will run on a continuous loop from B Lot to the Gordon Field House. Look for the White buses with the Career Fair sign in the window.
