Your organization is unique and important to us! Our office can assist in partnering within RIT to enhance your organization’s visibility to students and the RIT community overall. You may discuss your interest with our office anytime or consider the resources below to fulfill your hiring needs while building a link between your organization and RIT.   • Participate in our annual University-Wide Fall and Spring Career Fairs for overall recruiting needs. Depending on your interestes, you may also want to consider our more specialized fairs : Accounting Career Fair, Civil Engineering Career Fair, Packaging Science Career Fair, Hospitality Career Fair or Creative Industry Day.   • Schedule a Company Networking Day where your organization would set-up informational/product displays, meet students and faculty in high visibility areas, and talk about employment opportunities.Your organization is unique and important to us! Our office can assist in partnering within RIT to enhance your organization’s visibility to students and the institute community overall. Discuss your interest with our office or consider the resources below to fulfill your hiring needs while building a link between your organization and RIT. Host an Information Session/Reception which can allow you to promote your company's opportunities, provide general information in advance of individual interviews, and meet and evaluate students in an informal setting prior to one-on-one interviews.   • Serve as an Interviewer during our Mock Interview Day in advance of our Fall and Spring Career Fairs. Spend part or all the day critiquing interviews with students who are preparing to attend a Fair. In addition, students and alumni can access InterviewStream, an online video practice interview system, and record practice interviews, which can be reviewed by Career Services staff and volunteer alumni and employers. As a virtual mock interviewer, you’ll be sent a link to view and provide feedback on a recorded practice interview.
     
  • Present on a Career Search Topic as part of our programming for co-op, graduating students or alumni. Spend an hour or two talking to students (or alumni) about ways to promote their candidacy through resume and cover letter writing, effective interviewing, networking, email etiquette, on-the-job success or other areas of interest to you.
     
  • Share Your Expertise - can you offer tips and advice to students and alumni in your career field, or give general job search suggestions?  We’re developing a video library on our website and You Tube channel to highlight alumni and employer career paths in a wide variety of industries and fields. This will give students a chance to learn more about the careers they’ve chosen from experts already working in those fields. Join our growing library and give others a glimpse into your professional life. You can also participate in panel discussions on career related topics with other employers.
     
  • Interested in speaking to classes, groups, or student organizations on campus about your work, career field, or profession? As a Guest Speaker we will arrange a time and location for you to speak (formally or informally) with our students in every discipline at RIT. We offer programs on specific career fields, as well as job search techniques programs, and also workshops geared for young and experienced alumni professionals. We also have an RIT Alumni Job Club, and would be pleased to have you facilitate a session, on a topic of interest to you.
     
  • Become an involved RIT Alumna/us. We invite alumni to assist us in identifying job opportunities for our co-op and graduating students. Do important people in your organization know about RIT's successful programs? Is our staff in contact with the correct "decision making" individuals in your company? Can you assist us in developing partnerships with professionals in your field who can hire our students and alumni? Could you make introductions for our office? Please contact us to discuss your interest.
     
  • Student Clubs and Organizations can help with advertising of events that are targeting specific students or programs. Currently there are 155 active clubs, 10 Major Student Organizations, and 26 Greek Organizations on campus. Your organization can also support a student club/organizations by sponsoring an event, technical talk, competition and the like.   • Work in Partnership with an Academic Department or Faculty member, serve on a major-specific industrial advisory board, and/or sponsor a senior design project or research initiative.
     
  • Sponsor our Career Guide -- the official career guide given to all students and alumni searching for all levels of employment opportunities. It is distributed online and also as a print version publication. The Office of Career Services & Co-op and College Recruitment Media are preparing to publish the next edition.   • Consider Making a Donation. The Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations works to build mutually beneficial relationships between RIT and its corporate and foundation partners. The Office is charged with enhancing RIT’s leadership in technological education by securing gifts and grants from corporations and foundations worldwide that meet critical university needs. http://www.rit.edu/development/giving/donorrelations/
     
  • RIT Business and Technology Park. The Park provides an ideal setting for light manufacturing, technology, and research related private industry tenants to expand or relocate near Rochester Institute of Technology.   • The Center for Integrated Manufacturing Studies (CIMS) at Rochester Institute of Technology was established in 1992 with a mission to increase the competitiveness of manufacturers through applied technology and training. Training at the CIMS Center answers today's most pressing business and technology questions, increases employee confidence, and teaches organizations new skills necessary to survive.
