Join The Loop

Thanks for your interest in joining The Loop. The process to join The Loop differs based upon your affiliation with RIT.   Choose your affiliation with RIT from the tabs below and follow those instructions to join.

  • All RIT Applicants are invited to join The Loop!
    Your RIT Admissions Account not only gives you access to your Application Status Page but also provides access to The Loop. There are a few ways to sign up:

    • If you applied to RIT using the RIT Online Application you have already created your RIT Admissions Account! Create your Loop Profile now!
    • If you applied using The Common Application, you received an email with details on setting up your RIT Admissions Account.
    • The Loop Invitation Email: After receiving your application, we also send an invitation to join the Loop with your account information and a temporary password.

  • RIT faculty and staff who are interested in representing their college or department are invited to interact with admission applicants in The Loop. You will be asked to sign in with your RIT username and password, which will activate your Loop account and associate you with your college and/or department.

  • RIT students who are interested in representing their college or department are invited to interact with admission applicants in The Loop.You will be asked to sign in with your RIT username and password, which will activate your Loop account and associate you with your college and/or department.

  • If you do not fall into any of the affiliations listed but are still interested in joining the loop, we ask that you fill out a support request and request a Loop account. In the additional information please explain why you are interested in joining The Loop and any affiliation you may have with RIT.

    Requests are processed Monday through Friday from 8:30am-4:30pm.  If submitted after these posted times, your request will be processed on the next business day. 

    If your request is approved you will receive a confirmation email. This email contains a special link that allows you to sign in and create a password for your Loop account.
