Savakis, Blakeslee receive Best Paper Award

Bryan Blakeslee ’14 (electrical engineering, computer engineering), ’19 MS (computer engineering) and Andreas Savakis, professor of computer engineering and director of the Center for Human-aware AI, received the Best Paper Award for “LambdaNet: A fully convolutional architecture for directional change detection” at the Electronic Imaging 2020 symposium. Blakeslee will present this paper on Aug. 26 at the IS&T Best Student Research Seminar Series Webinar.
