Hand-stitching is for everyone! Learn to embellish your clothes through “backstitching” visible-mending techniques.
Hand-stitching is a wonderful, portable activity that builds community in a no-pressure way, but it’s also soothing to do on your own. It’s practical and creative; it can help you focus and keep your fingers from doom-scrolling.
Curious? Come see the power of colorful thread and a stitching needle.
Participants are encouraged to bring one pair of jeans or a sweatshirt to embellish. We'll provide fabric for those who don’t bring a garment. Fun threads, needles, and scissors will be provided for everyone.
This event may be photographed/videoed by RIT. By attending,
