Constitution Day - Declaration at 250

Event Image

In celebration of the 250th Anniversary of the United States' Independence and Constitution Day, the Department of Political Science hosts a roundtable discussion to review the Declaration from various perspectives, including foreign policy, key figures involved, and the Constitution. Each participant will speak to the importance of their proposed angle and how it compares with the others toward a comprehensive political interpretation of the Declaration. In the Q&A, we also expect to invite perspectives from other disciplines to debate different interpretations of the Declaration’s meaning and history.
