Join Health Promotions and the College of Computing for Wellness Mondays😌
Every other Monday, visit the Wellness Peer Educators at their table in the Golisano Hall atrium from 10:30am - 11:30pm to participate in quick activities to learn wellness tips that will help you to thrive. Check out the full list of topics below!
- Open to all RIT - First-year computing students encouraged to attend.
- Registration is preferred but not required, just stop by!

Wellness Mondays Themes and Objectives:
- September 21 - Perfectionism Rejection
- Identify perfectionism tendencies and strategies to combat negative outcomes of maladaptive perfectionism.

- October 5 - It's Good to Ask for Help and Notice When You Need To
- Identify an early, moderate, or severe sign that someone is struggling with their mental health and list two resources on campus that you or someone else can reach out to for support. Differentiate between when someone needs a friend vs immediate support.

- Identify two benefits of work-life balance and one way in which you will improve your work-life balance

- November 2 - Seize the Awkward and Start the Conversation
- Practice how to initiate a conversation about mental health and practice engaging in a conversation and the importance of follow-up.

- November 16 - Gratitude and Support Network Appreciation
- Reflect on the benefits of gratitude and identify specific things in your own life that you may be grateful for. Additionally, write cards/notes to express gratitude for your support network as we approach the holiday season

- Prepare for Winter Break through practice applying stress management skills to scenarios and identify the benefits of journaling on mental health
