Information:
The School Action Team
in the School of Mathematical Sciences (SMS) studies the factors
contributing to the different graduation rates among students of color in
the SMS. The team aims to use data-driven insights to develop targeted
interventions that will help reduce these graduation rate gaps. This
event is an opportunity to share our research findings with faculty and
students, gather their thoughts, and collaborate on potential
improvements for the school. We invite SMS leadership, faculty, and
students join us for this event!
Attendees will gain
insights into the factors affecting graduation rates for students of
color in the School of Mathematical Sciences and participate in
discussions on how to improve outcomes for all students. Join us to learn
how you can contribute to a more inclusive and supportive academic
environment in SMS!
