DESCRIPTION:<p>University Gallery presents an exhibition of folding
 chairs conceived, iterated and built by 10 industrial design students
 from Associate Professor Amos Scully's Senior ID Studio.&nbsp;</p>
 <p><strong>An opening event is set for 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 16. "Ten
 Fold" runs through Feb. 8.</strong></p>
 <p>The students made the chairs over the course of the fall semester
 using the CNC technology in the SHED and furniture-grade plywood.
 Students designed the mechanics, structure and unique aesthetic,
 expressing a variety of approaches, including historical archetypes of
 folding chairs, to new explorations from hyper flat to compact, to lounge
 comfort.</p>
 <p>The show is curated by Amos Scully.</p>
