ROC Game Fest 2026
Western New York's largest indie game festival is back! Returning to our usual hosting season of Fall, ROC Game Fest will be held on Saturday, September 26th.
We will be featuring 50+ indie game and tabletop developers from WNY and across the state. Like previous years, attendance is free and open to the public. We will have a food truck on location from 11-5pm and parking in Lots E and F. Parental guidance is suggested for children as game ratings range from E to M.
We will kick the festival off with our Keynote Speaker at 11am with MAGIC Speaker Series Presents Aela! Then exhibits will be open 12-5!

The festival's organizers, with additional support from the Irondequoit Public Library, Rochester Institute of Technology's MAGIC Spell Studios, and ROC Game Dev, are working to boost the profile of the game development scene here in Rochester. That all starts with showcasing the wide variety of video games and tabletop games created in the Rochester area (and beyond) at multiple events every year.
Our main event, the Rochester Game Festival, takes place at RIT in the Fall, while the Irondequoit Library hosts the Spring Mini Show in the Spring. More than 3,300 people have attended Rochester Game Festival events over the years, and they've been able to try out the latest projects from more than 100 developers headquartered in New York State and the surrounding region.
