The Avangrid ULink Mentoring Program is committed to foster equal opportunity, purpose-driven connections between experienced industry leaders and aspiring professionals from all backgrounds. Our mission is to expand access to energy sector careers, support professional growth, and inspire the next generation of innovators through meaningful mentorship, knowledge exchange, and community engagement.
Step into a structured 6-month journey designed to accelerate your growth! As a mentee, you’ll be matched with an Avangrid mentor who will support you in exploring industry insights, building your professional network, developing your career, and more.
This program gives university students the opportunity to connect with Avangrid mentors for career guidance, learning, and professional growth.
If you are selected and matched with a mentor, you will participate in the program for approximately six months (depending on when the program begins during the academic year).
During the program, you will:
- Meet with your mentor for one hour each month.
- Discuss career development topics that are important to you.
- Complete a short survey each month about your experience.
- Attend a program kick-off session, check-in sessions, and a closing wrap-up session.
Students of Interest:
- 1st and 2nd year students in:
- Electrical Eng/Electrical Eng Tech, Manuf/Industrial Eng, Computer Eng/Computer Eng Tech, Mechanical Eng/Eng Tech, Environmental Health and Safety, Civil Eng
