Kory Samuels named The National Association of College and University Food Services (NACUFS) 66th chairperson
Associate vice president of auxiliary services, Kory Samuels, was named The National Association of College and University Food Services (NACUFS) 66th chairperson. NACUFS has been supporting and promoting excellence in collegiate dining since 1958, dedicated to serving as the professional resource for collegiate food service leaders. There are currently 344 active universities and colleges within the NACUFS network.
"I'm excited to be able to see collegiate dining in a wider scope across our nation. This will allow me to leverage our dining program to help others and borrow ideas that will elevate the dining experience for our RIT community.
Being named Board Chair of the most respected association in collegiate food service and having the most talented food service professionals in the world look to me for guidance is very humbling.
I have leaned on the NACUFS Association and forged partnerships with universities across the world to improve RIT's dining experience over the last 13 years. Leading Trustees from this association to provide value to our universities is a huge responsibility, but one that I welcome with excitement and gratitude."
