Any student living in an RIT on-campus apartment or off campus may select one of the meal plans below. View the printable meal plan flyer. Log into myLife.rit.edu to add a meal plan, found under housing and dining contract.

2022-2023 Meal Plan Changes

For 2022-2023 year, all meal plans have been converted to Dining Dollars only plans.

Students may upgrade a meal plan, add another meal plan, or add Voluntary Dining Dollars at any time throughout the semester.

Dining Dollars

Dining Dollars are funds used to purchase perishable and non-perishable groceries and food items only. Available only to students, Dining Dollars may be used at all RIT Dining locations, including vending machines. Food purchased with Dining Dollars is not charged the New York State 8% sales tax (exclusions apply for specific New York State mandated goods). 

Any unused Dining Dollar balances will remain active until graduation or exit from the University. Rollover Dining Dollars are not considered to be an RIT meal plan, do not satisfy the required meal plan policy, and are not subject to the refund schedule.
